Fri, 4 January 2008 This is the Twelfth Message! I have received a number of private emails about the messages. Many have been expressions of gratitude. Others have asked for help. A few have been complaints. One woman wrote that the movie was beautiful but the messages were disappointing as I seem to be "hooked on polarities." Yes, I am hooked on polarities this year. The soul is the realm of polarities. Inner Christmas is a time of deep soul work. We only worked with twelve - tomorrow for Epiphany I am going to offer a thirteenth. Imagine if the first year of university - we studied polarities. Life would make a lot more sense if we immersed our studies in polarities for a year. When I signed up for this, I was thinking how nice it would be to do this spiritual excercise during this Holy Time. That was before I had heard from anyone regarding their plans for Christmas! Not one was certain and full of doubts about how or who would be able to come together, not-one or nothing was definite until 5 days before when my son called inviting me to his home on boxing day, which was the only time his daughter and 2 grandchildren could make time in their busy schedule to visit during the Holy Days. I was happy to accept the invitation as I had spent the last six years (since my precious husband passed and 7 precious others),, the car accident and physiotherapy and the floods and restoration work) peacefully on my own and yet remembering the happy times of Christmas Past that I had celebrated with my family, my heart said
Yes!
It was a very hectic time of constant activity for me, including a day before invitation to be with my daughter and her children, which I also happily accepted and brought them home with me as I am blessed to have reliable transpotation and she isn't yet.
And so the whole family, except for Darryl and David and Skye who is in China doing her ballet (who were with us in our hearts) was somehow magically together for 2 precious hours on "boxing day"
even though I did it and enjoyed it all immensely, I expended more energy at a faster pace than I have in a long time and learned that my simple life at my own pace suits me better at this phase of my 71 year life, Been there, Done that! and I am now resting up and looking forward to doing more than just reading this exercise daily and actually doing the fun part of the work!

Just finished the 12th night. Thank you so much. This exercise has kept me grounded throughout the season. Making a list of my polarities brought great insight. How about "risk and comfort" and "insecurity and superiority". It could go on and on and thanks again for the catalyst to LOOK.
I am very certain that without these enlightening polarities of inner celebration my reflections of life would no doubt be different and I would not have reflected in the spiritual ways that they lead me. Lynn, I thank you and all who shared during this time of blessing - what a warm and pleasant way to begin the new year.
May we all be blessed with a new outlook to life!

I have printed all 12 Polarities and each of the blogs....I plan to revisit them the first
day of each month... Feb. 1 will begin again with
Desire & Fulfillment---March with Movement & Stillness and so on...

Most years, a group of us get together to study something during the Holy Nights. This year, many of us were sick, unable to manage to host an evening or go out. Your "innerchristmas" has been such a gift! We all have appreciated it so much, and feel blessed to have this medium for sharing virtually, when the physical isn't possible. The polarities are opposites, but overlap, and make a whole in their interconnectedness, or "married" state. It's been wonderful, and so I send you many thanks and wishes for a fulfilling, positive 2008.

Dear Lynn and all... This time has been so rich... These twelve nights have been intensified, yet the container for diving as deeply as needed was so sound... I so appreciate this time. I have several friends who have followed these nights, as well as my mother. She like Nancy above has printed out each night and will be going more deeply into the polarities, giving herself a month to explore each one.
I had so much fun with the polarities of certainty and doubt!!! They surprised me!
My life's work has been around polarities and finding the doorways through them... so these twelve nights have been quite a gift and it is so appreciated! I look forward to our epiphany and thirteenth post from you!

I just came on to the blog today. I feel like it is not the end,but yet a beginning so I do hope that many continue to blog. I am not usually very good about blogging. This a step for me!
I want to thank you for sharing and Nancy, great idea to print and review the beginning each month. I would like to do that also and put into action each polarity to work with the power of the Universe to master each polarity. And Dee, thank you for your wealth of insight. We just celebrated my Grandmother's 80th birthday yesterday and I pray for her to have even half of the understanding of solitudy that you do!
